En un mensaje publicado en su cuenta de Twitter Donald Trump afirma que Rusia "debe de estar riéndose de EE.UU.".

"Los funcionarios rusos deben de estar riéndose" de Estados Unidos viendo cómo "una pobre excusa acerca de por qué los demócratas perdieron las elecciones se ha apoderado de las noticias falsas", ha escrito el presidente estadounidense, Donald Trump, en su cuenta de Twitter.

Durante la campaña electoral, la candidata demócrata para la presidencia de EE.UU., Hillary Clinton, acusó en varias ocasiones a los 'hackers' rusos de haber pirateado los correos electrónicos de su formación política. La demócrata acusó también a Moscú de interferir en los comicios presidenciales de noviembre para presuntamente ayudar a ganar a su rival republicano, Donald Trump.
