Hezbolá confirma la muerte de Hassan Nasrallah, su máximo líder

Las fuerzas israelíes afirmaron haber matado al líder del movimiento libanés en un ataque lanzado el viernes.

Hezbolá ha confirmado este sábado la muerte de su máximo líder, Hassan Nasrallah. Las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel (FDI) afirmaron haberlo matado durante su ataque aéreo del viernes contra un edificio residencial en el suburbio de Dahieh, en el sur de Beirut, debajo del cual se encontraba el cuartel general del movimiento libanés.

En un comunicado, Hezbolá dijo que Nasrallah "se ha unido a sus grandes e inmortales compañeros mártires", prometiendo que seguirá adelante con su "guerra santa contra el enemigo, en apoyo de Gaza y Palestina y en defensa del Líbano y su pueblo firme y honorable".

"Ofrecemos nuestras condolencias y felicitaciones a sus compañeros mártires que se unieron a su pura y santa procesión después de la traicionera incursión sionista en el suburbio sureño", declaró el movimiento chiita.

Nasrallah, que llevaba 32 años al frente de Hezbolá, es el objetivo más importante abatido por Israel en medio de la intensificación de la lucha contra el grupo libanés.

El portavoz de las FDI, el teniente coronel Nadav Shoshani, declaró que el ataque aéreo se basó en años de seguimiento a Nasrallah e "información en tiempo real". Shoshani evitó revelar qué municiones se utilizaron en el ataque, así como brindar evaluaciones sobre las víctimas entre la población civil.

Tras confirmarse la muerte del máximo dirigente del movimiento chiita, el portavoz del Ministerio de Exteriores de Irán, Nasser Kanaani, ha asegurado a través de un mensaje en su cuenta de X que "el camino de la resistencia de Hassan Nasrallah continuará".
