La ONU acusa a Israel de cometer "actos genocidas" y "violencia sexual" contra población palestina

Un informe elaborado por especialistas de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (ONU) afirma que Israel ha llevado a cabo "actos genocidas" contra la población palestina de Gaza y utiliza la "violencia sexual" como estrategia de guerra.

La ONU sostiene en su reporte que "Israel ha empleado cada vez más la violencia sexual y reproductiva y otras formas de violencia de género contra la población palestina, como parte de un esfuerzo más amplio para socavar su derecho a la autodeterminación".

Entre los "actos genocidas" que menciona el informe, el organismo señala la "destrucción sistemática de centros de salud sexual y reproductiva".

El parte fue elaborado por la Comisión Internacional Independiente de Investigación de la ONU sobre el Territorio Palestino Ocupado, lo que incluye Jerusalén Oriental y áreas de Israel, y fue publicado este jueves. Allí se documenta una amplia gama de violaciones perpetradas contra mujeres, hombres, niñas y niños palestinos en todo el territorio palestino desde el 7 de octubre de 2023.

El informe contiene una declaración en la que se afirma que "la desnudez pública forzada, el acoso sexual, incluidas las amenazas de violación, así como las agresiones sexuales", formaban parte del "procedimiento operativo estándar" de las fuerzas de seguridad del país hebreo hacia los palestinos.
