La UE inicia investigación contra Pornhub y otras tres plataformas de porno

La medida contra las plataformas fue tomada para reforzar la protección de los menores de los contenidos nocivos en línea.

La Comisión Europea anunció este martes que investigará cuatro plataformas de porno, entre ellos Pornhub, Stripchat, XNXX y XVideos, por presuntas infracciones de la Ley de Servicios Digitales de la Unión Europea.

"La comisión llevará a cabo ahora una investigación en profundidad con carácter prioritario y seguirá recabando pruebas, lo que puede incluir el envío de solicitudes de información adicionales, la realización de entrevistas o inspecciones", aseveró el organismo.

La medida fue tomada para reforzar la protección de los menores de los contenidos nocivos en línea. Según la comisión, la investigación se centrará en "los riesgos para la protección de los menores, incluidos los relacionados con la ausencia de medidas eficaces de verificación de la edad" en las plataformas.
