China reacciona a las amenazas de EE.UU. contra sus estudiantes

El Gobierno estadounidense anunció este miércoles que revocará las visas de estudiantes chinos en el marco de su política de deportaciones masivas.

China ha presentado una protesta ante el Gobierno de EE.UU. por su decisión de revocar los visados de estudiantes del país asiático, declaró este jueves la portavoz del Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores chino, Mao Ning.

La vocera acusó a Washington de utilizar la ideología y la defensa de la seguridad nacional como pretextos para cancelar injustificadamente las visas. Señaló que esto socava gravemente los derechos de los estudiantes chinos y obstaculiza los intercambios culturales entre ambos países.

"Esta práctica política y discriminatoria por parte de EE.UU. ha dejado al descubierto las mentiras de la llamada libertad y apertura de la que siempre ha presumido, y solo socavará aún más la imagen internacional y la credibilidad nacional de Estados Unidos", dijo Mao Ning.

Este miércoles, el Gobierno estadounidense anunció que revocará las visas de estudiantes chinos en el marco de su política de deportaciones masivas y su ofensiva contra la prestigiosa Universidad de Harvard.

El secretario de Estado de EE.UU., Marco Rubio, detalló a través de su cuenta de la red social X que la medida incluirá a "aquellos [estudiantes] con vínculos con el Partido Comunista chino o que estudien en campos críticos".
